The Training Centre conducts three AICTE approved courses viz.
(1) 3 -Year Diploma in Instrument Technology
(2) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making
(3) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation
The latter two consist of two years of common training with the trainees of Instrument Technology course plus two years of advanced specialization. The medium of instruction is English.
Application forms along with detailed information are available on our website www.csio.res.in w.e.f. 15-05-2010. The application form is required to be filled on-line. The charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are Rs.1000/-(Rs 500/- For SC/ST Candidates) in the form of crossed Demand Draft issued on or after 15.05.2010 in favour of Director CSIO, payable preferabaly at State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code 1443). Demand draft for requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form on-line. Last date for filling up online forms is 21-06-2010 up to 5:00 PM. After submitting the completed application on-line, a print-out of the form with a photograph affixed at appropriate place, along with demand draft for requisite fee, is required to be posted to the Principal, Indo-swiss Training Centre, CSIO, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh-160 030 so as to reach this office on or before June 30th 2010, by 5:00 PM.
